Box Score On Wednesday, September 2, the Lancers traveled to North Carolina to take on the Livingstone College Blue Bears. The Lancers lost in three sets.
The scores to the sets were 25-22, 25-18, and 25-23.
USCL recorded 27 kills on 88 attempts with 20 errors, along with 25 assists, eight aces and 48 digs. The Lancers had seven service errors on 64 attempts, while passing saw 11 errors on 59 reception attempts. The Lancers also collected one solo block and two blocking assists.
Some of the Lancers standout defensive players of the night were freshman Kenzie Woodard and freshman Andra Shields. Woodard collected 11 digs while Shields had 10.
On the offensive side, sophomore Constanza Fuentealba collected seven kills while freshman Abigail Leopard had five.
Sophomore Rebekah Fersner and Woodard both added three aces each to the team's score.
The Lancers are back in action this Friday, September 4 as they head to Virginia to take on Richard Bland College. The game starts at 6:00 p.m.
