The Lancers fell short in four sets.
The scores to the sets were 25-21, 25-18 (USCL), 25-14, 25-21, and 25-23.
USCL's leaders in kills were sophomore outside hitter Constanza Fuentealba with nine and sophomore opposite hitter Lydia Bunkley with eight.
Freshman defensive specialist Andra Shields and freshman middle blocker Laney Allen led the team in aces with Shields and Allen both having three each.
Allen and freshman middle blocker Savannah Savage each collected one block. Freshman setter Khloe Cheeks and freshman libero Kenzie Woodard each led the team in assists with Cheeks collecting 28 and Woodard collecting three.
On defense, Woodard collected 20 digs, while Fuentealba had 18.
The Lancers are back in action this Wednesday, Sept. 16, as they host Sandhills Community College. The game starts at 6:00 p.m.
