The Lancers volleyball team beat Johnson Community College on August 22, 2026, in three sets (25-6, 25-15, 25-11).  

After this match, the volleyball team holds an overall record of 1-1 and a conference record of 0-0.

The USCL Lancers had a great game against Johnson Community College, with 31 kills on 62 attempts and 7 errors. They collected 27 assists, 22 aces on 76 serve attempts with 11 service errors. The Lancers added 22 digs along with 2 reception errors on 25 attempts. 

USC Lancaster had many standout players in their sweep against Johnson. Sophomore outside hitter Constanza Fuentealba stepped up again and led the Lancers in kills with 11. She also had 3 aces, 1 dig and 14 total points. Abigail Leopard, freshman outside hitter also had an impressive game with 7 kills, 2 aces, 2 digs, 1 blocking assist and 10 total points. A defensive standout of the game was sophomore libero Hailey Kerestes, who collected 4 aces, 8 digs, 5 assists and 4 total points. Kenzie Woodard, freshman opposite hitter, had 2 kills, 6 aces, 1 dig and 8 total points.  

The University of South Carolina Lancaster women's volleyball team will face off against Cleveland Community College on Wednesday, August 26 at home. The match will take place at 6:00 pm. Make sure to come out and support the Lancers in their home opener!
