Women's Soccer Tryouts Set for August 1st

Former USC-Lancaster Baseball Player Taken in the Major League Baseball Draft

Former USC-Lancaster student-athlete Taylor Johnson was drafted by the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim in the 31st round on June 8th. Taylor attended USC-Lancaster in the fall of 2009 and the spring 2010. That spring Taylor hit .357 while driving in 48 runs and clobbering 11 homeruns. He transferred to Furman University where he graduated this spring with his Bachelors Degree. Taylor is the second student-athlete that played baseball at USC-Lancaster that was drafted by a major league team. Jarrett Miller was drafted in the spring of 2011 by the Atlanta Braves. Student-Athlete for the Month of June

Congratulations go out to Lancer Nick Sergakis who has been named Student-Athlete of the Month for June.  Nick played third base for the Lancers this past fall and spring and was named to the Dean's List both of those semesters.  He will be transferring to Ohio State University this fall to continue his education and his baseball career.  Congratulations Nick on being named Student-Athlete of the Month.
